Yimtaş YL-2K Structured type two component road marking paints are in the standard of highways and complies with TS EN 1871 Standard and the glass beads used complies with EN 1436 standards.
The two component road marking paint produced under the brand name “Yimtaş YL-2K Structured” forms a rough application surface. Generally, it is common for intracity speed limiter, router and crosswalks applications. Light reflection power of glass beads strewed over rough surfaces are higher. Two component road marking paint is a product with a very high physical and chemical strength which is formed by adding hardeners to it by particular ratios and gets hardened with exothermal reaction and sticks to the surface it is applied.
Its film thickness at the surface can be adjusted between 1 mm and 5 mm. Thanks to the high strength, it can keep substantivity for a long period of time. Drying occurs by the chemical reaction taking place by blending powdery hardener to liquid road marking paint with a ratio of 1-2%. Therefore, application must be initiated within maximum 5-7 minutes after the hardener has been blended.
